On October 16, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus Igor Vasilyevich Karpenko visited the exhibition-presentation of Polessky State University, where key areas of activity, as well as the latest scientific and innovative developments were presented.
Igor Vasilyevich was greeted by activists of student public associations of the university: the primary trade union organization of students, the primary organization "BRYU" with the student detachment "Heart of Polesie" and the youth law enforcement detachment "Bastion", the Student Council of the University.
Tatiana Alexandrovna Rzhevskaya, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, spoke about promising areas for the development of the faculty's scientific potential, paying special attention to the main areas of work with personnel customers, focusing on the experience of targeted training in the banking sector.
Alexey Viktorovich Kozyr, Senior lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, presented the results of work on the creation of an industrial fish farming complex based on the branch of "Eco Technopark Volma", as well as a project to expand the boundaries of underwater research using an underwater drone that allows analyzing fisheries reservoirs, ships and hydraulic structures.
Vitaly Tadeushevich Cheshevik, Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology, spoke about the project aimed at accelerated production of planting material for fruit and berry crops with subsequent genetic certification.
Tatyana Vladimirovna Marinich, Dean of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization, presented innovative sports medicine technologies at the exhibition. Special attention was paid to the interactive presentation of methods for testing the functional state of athletes used in high-performance sports.
