On May 22, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Language and Intercultural Communication: Modern vectors of development", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Polessky State University, began its work at Polessky State University.
The reports at the plenary session addressed the current problems of international cooperation in the field of linguistics, linguodidactics and intercultural communication, as well as the state and prospects of teaching Russian as a foreign language, modern aspects of literary studies, translation and interpretation of text in a multicultural space. The work continued in six sections: current trends in linguistics and communication theory; current aspects of intercultural communication; literary studies, translation and interpretation of text in a multicultural world; methods of language teaching in a multicultural environment; artificial intelligence in language: technology, practice, ethics; young scientists.
