"At PolesSU, I received the very professional base and practical skills that have become the core of my career path today," says Veronika Sakovich, a graduate of Polessky State University with a degree in Linguistic Support of Intercultural Communication. Today she works in the Department for Cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Commission of the Main Directorate of Economic Integration of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus. Here, in the epicenter of the country's foreign economic activity, knowledge of languages and understanding of business etiquette of different countries is no longer just a skill – it becomes a strategic resource.
Why is it that someone has been looking for themselves for years, and graduates of our university are quickly entering the profession? The secret is simple: here theory never exists separately from real life. "My springboard was the university's research activities and work in the Department of International Relations,– Veronika recalls. "This invaluable experience has helped me adapt to the high professional demands." Of particular value today are skills that seemed like ordinary studies at an alma mater: the art of business correspondence, professional translation, and the preparation of analytical materials. Additional professional education in Business Administration, obtained at the Faculty of Additional Education of PolesSU, expanded her profile, adding a powerful economic support to linguistic erudition. Today, she is fluent in finance, statistics, and law.
Polessky State University is a higher education institution where a professional grows out of yesterday's student.
