The Karate Championship of the Republic of Belarus was held at the premises of the Republican State School of Olympic Reserve. About 400 of the strongest young athletes from different regions of the country took part in the tournament. Students of Polessky State University represented our university with dignity at this prestigious event. The results of the athletes’ performance: Sergey Makarov (1st year) took 1st place in the “juniors” category (up to 68 kg). Nasenya Ilya (1st year) – 1st place in the “youth” category (up to 84 kg). Chimbur Roman (4th year) – 2nd place in the “youth” category (up to 75 kg). Solomakha Ivan (2nd year) – 3rd place in the “youth” category (over 84 kg).
