As part of the celebration of the Week of Parental Love, the Republican Public Association "Belaya Rus" together with the Belarusian Orthodox Church held a series of creative contests for children and youth.

On October 19-20, the international karate competition "Belarus Open" took place at the Chizhovka Arena sports complex. More than 1,000 athletes from 90 clubs and sports organizations from Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan took part in the competition.

The Week of Parental Love is a recognition at the state level of the most important role of the family in the development of society and has traditionally been held in Belarus from October 14 to 21. Mother's Day is designed to maintain the traditions of caring for women and emphasize the importance of the mother in our lives, and Father's Day is designed to emphasize the role of the father in raising a child and creating a strong and happy family.

On October 12, 2024, representatives of Polessky State University took an active part in the career guidance promo campaign "To choose a profession is to choose the future" as part of the celebration of Pinsk City Day.

On October 11, 2024, the dean of the Faculty of Additional Education Natalia Glinskaya took part in the Youth Forum "Youth. Unity. Quality." 

Within the framework of the forum, young specialists received information about retraining specialties, educational programs for advanced training and internships based on industry laboratories with application of the latest equipment and advanced technologies offered by Polessky State University.

On October 10, 2024, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Scientific and Technical Progress in Housing and Communal Services" was held at the Institute of Housing and Communal Services of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Gennady Alekseevich Trubilo, Minister of Housing and Communal Services, Sergey Antonovich Chizhik, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and others were present.

An important event dedicated to improving the quality of engineering and technological education in higher educational institutions of the Union State was held in Nizhny Novgorod from September 23 to 27, 2024.
