From June 30 to July 26, 2025, under the guidance of the Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work, E.I. Prilovskaya, and Associate Professor of the Biotechnological Department, A.V. Shashko, the group 22BT-1 underwent educational scientific research practice.

From July 21 to 23, students majoring in “Biotechnology” completed the practical part of their practice in the Department of Testing Food and Agricultural Products at the State Enterprise “Pinsk Center for Standardization, Metrology, and Certification”.

The achievements of students of the educational establishment “Polessky State University” in academic, scientific and social activities have been recognized at a high level. By the decision of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for social support of gifted pupils and students, scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year have been awarded to:

Vice-Rector for Ideology and Educational Affairs, Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, conducted an excursion to the PolesSU Museum for Master's students from the People's Republic of China as part of a class on pedagogy and psychology of higher education on the topic “The Higher Education System of the Republic of Belarus”.

Students of Polessky State University, as part of student pedagogical teams organized with the support of the BRSM (Belarusian Republican Youth Union), went to the educational and recreation camp “Zarnitsa” (JSC “Integral”), where they work as educator assistants. Participation in student teams is a good tradition of our university that unites energetic, proactive, and creative students.

On July 17, 2025, Ekaterina Igorevna Prilovskaya, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work of the Biotechnological Faculty, and members of the information and propaganda group comprised of students, conducted a Unified Information Day for faculty, staff, and students on the topic: “Sovereign Belarus: From the Restoration of the National Economy to Innovative Projects of the Future”.

From July 15 to 17, 2025, biotechnology students, as part of their academic biotechnological and research practices, visited the State Institution “Pinsk Zonal Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology” under the guidance of Maria Mikhailovna Vorobyeva, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor; Ekaterina Igorevna Prilovskaya, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work; Natalia Vasilyevna Vodchits, Head of the Research Laboratory “DNA and Cell Technologies in Plant and Animal Husbandry”; Olga Nikolaevna Zhuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor; and Alexander Viktorovich Shashko, Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor.

Second-year students of group 23 E-1, majoring in “Economics” with a specialization in “Financial and Banking Economics”, undergo academic language practice at Polessky State University under the guidance of L.N. On July 14, the Day of the Liberation of Pinsk from the Nazi invaders, led by Rector Valery Ivanovich Dunai, the administration, staff and students of Polessky State University laid flowers at the monument in honor of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Pinsk from the Nazi invaders on Lenin Street.
