On November 24, the republican shotokan karate-do tournament "Polesskaya Stolitsa", dedicated to the memory of Babich-Ostrovsky Pavel Mikhailovich, was held at the sports complex of Polessky State University. About 140 athletes from Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk and Vitebsk regions, as well as 14 organizations participated in the competition.
