On March 23-24, 2021, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Aspects of the Theory and Practice of Tourism, Hospitality and Service Industry Development" was held at Vladimir State University named after the Alexander and Nikolai Stoletov. Elena Grechishkina, Head of the Department of Marketing and International Management of Polessky State University, was its co-organizer and participant.
The purpose of the conference was to create a communication platform for an open discussion of the problems of the development of the tourism industry, hospitality, service, entrepreneurship in the service sector, analysis of trends and prospects for the development of the service sector in conditions of high market volatility. E. Grechishkina spoke about the problems of tourism development in the Republic of Belarus during the COVID-19 pandemic, analyzed the structure of sources of state funding for tourism development in the country for 2021-2025.
