On December 16, an introductory lesson on extended first aid was held at Polessky State University with the participation of Dmitry Dmitrievich Morozov, head of the Rechitsa military-patriotic club «Radzima».
Dmitry Dmitrievich told the students of the Faculty of Engineering about the activities of the club he heads, and also introduced the participants to samples of medical equipment used in the classrooms. Modern models of harnesses and first-aid kits, stretchers and splints for fixing damaged limbs or necks, as well as much more were presented to the attention of those present.
Everyone was able to independently try to work out the skills of indirect heart massage on a mannequin. The mannequin was supplemented with a special indicator, which, by changing the color and sound signal, suggested whether the actions of the student were effective.
