On December 24, 2024, the Palace of Independence hosted the traditional Republican New Year's Ball with the participation of President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko. "It is extremely important for me that you, being here among people of different ages, statuses, and positions, feel the essence of our society, where everyone is equal in their abilities. Where the generational change is based on respect for the historical achievements of the people and necessarily on continuity," the President emphasized, addressing the participants and guests of the New Year's ball.
More than 300 boys and girls from different regions of Belarus, including students of Polessky State University, took part in the solemn event.
