The first year of the five-year quality plan will be the Year of Improvement of the country. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this in his New Year's address to the Belarusian people. "Our path is continuity. The generational change will be completed in the coming years. In Belarus it's wise to rely on everything we value and are proud of. The next five-year plan in our country will be a five-year quality plan. We will devote each year to one of the most important areas. Let's start with the Year of Improvement of the country. The goal of improving our Belarus will be to improve the quality of people's lives," the Belarusian leader said. Alexander Lukashenko also noted in his New Year's address that the future of the state will have to be chosen very soon. "We all want it to be successful and happy. And it must be peaceful!" he said.
