On January 21, 2025, the International Scientific Seminar "Science and Innovation": current issues of our time", dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Science was held on the basis of the Educational Institution "Polessky State University".
The seminar was attended by renowned scientists from the Belarus: Reshetnikov Vladimir Nikolaevich, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; Urbanovich Oksana Yurievna, Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics at the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor. Representatives from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova: Terletsky Valery Pavlovich, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of GAOU Higher Education LO "LSU named after A.S. Pushkin"; Koshel Elena Ivanovna, Head of the Microbiology Laboratory, Associate Professor of the Chemical and Biological Cluster, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "ITMO National Research University"; Kara Sergey Vasilyevich, Doctor of Technological Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Comrat State University.
Polessky State University has become a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge: participants discussed current approaches and technologies that significantly improve the quality of scientific research. Field trips to industry laboratories allowed the guests to communicate with leading experts and get acquainted with the material and technical base of the university. In addition, an expanded meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Biotechnology was held within the framework of the seminar, and the festive end was the awarding ceremony for students for special achievements in research work.
