In 2021, Polessky State University celebrates 15 years since its foundation. As part of the celebration, the first week is defined as “Student Week”. During the festive events, on April 9, 2021, the XV International Youth Scientific and Practical Online Conference “The Scientific Potential of Young People - The Future of Belarus” was held. The event was held in the format of an online broadcast using the Microsoft Teams platform.
The conference began with a welcome speech by Valery Dunai, the Rector of Polessky State University. After that 17 sections in the following areas were considered:
- Banking economy
- Improving accounting, analysis and audit
- Finance and financial markets in modern conditions
- The role of banks in the development of the country (for students in grades 10-11)
- Efficiency of enterprises' functioning: problems and ways to solve them
- Current issues of management, marketing and regional tourism development
- Language, translation, culture, communication
- Socio-humanitarian and legal problems of civilizational modernization of the Belarusian society: historical heritage and modernity
- Economics, marketing and tourism in the life of society (for students in grades 10-11)
- Mathematical modeling and information technologies in engineering
- Innovative methods of aquaculture
- Landscape projecting and design
- Health-saving technologies in physical education
- Physical culture and sport: integration of science and practice
- Healthy lifestyle problems and ways to solve them (for students in grades 10-11)
- Current issues in the development of biotechnologies (in animal breeding, crop production, aquaculture, medicine and genetics)
- Achievements and prospects for the development of biotechnology (for students in grades 10-11)
The event was held in face-to-face and online format. 156 participants spoke at the sessions of the sections. All sites were organized in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards.
During the current week, the names of the winners of the conference will be announced and diplomas will be presented to the participants in a solemn form.
