As part of the Financial Literacy Week, the Faculty of Engineering hosted a meeting of 2nd year students with representatives of law enforcement agencies. The guests of the event were Dmitry Ivanovich Yaromchik, Head of the Cybercrime Department, and Artyom Nikolaevich Nevdakh, senior inspector of the personnel group of the Pinsk ODO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Dmitry Ivanovich Yaromchik gave a lecture on modern fraud schemes and ways to protect personal funds. He analyzed examples of cybercrimes in detail and gave recommendations on how to avoid financial losses. Artyom Nikolaevich Nevdakh highlighted current methods of property protection, paying attention to legal aspects and theft prevention. He also spoke about the role of digital technologies in ensuring security.
