On April 14, 2021, an online working meeting was held at Turiba University (Latvia) to exchange experience on the implementation of innovative technologies in the field of climate management and environmental management within the framework of the CLIMAN project.
Specialists of Turiba University presented the experience of the University in particular and Latvia in general, regarding the implementation of various initiatives in the field of climate management and “green” tourism. Special attention was paid to the introduction of issues related to climate management into the curriculum, since the partner university specializes in business education.
On the part of Polessky State University, representatives of Engineering, Economics and Finance and Biotechnological faculties participated in the working meeting.
The report of Ieva Bruksle (Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration) on climate management initiatives, sustainability and environmental thinking in business on the example of Latvia aroused considerable interest among the representatives of Polessky State University.
At the end of the online meeting, discussions were held and promising areas of cooperation between Polessky State University and Turiba University (Latvia) were outlined.
