The staff of the Department of Banking and Financial Markets focuses students of the specialization “Banking” on a conscious and timely choice of the direction of research work. It is obvious that when determining such a research interest in the first years of study, for the final courses, students have significant achievements for the diploma project, a large number of publications of the results of their research, and most importantly-irreplaceable research experience, a sufficiently deep understanding of financial and banking processes, good progress in professional development and competitive career prospects.
This model of research work is also practiced by a 3rd-year student of the “Banking” specialization, Daria Velesevich. Starting to take an interest in monetary policy issues and the role of trust in the development of national economies, she successfully participated in several International student Research Competitions during the year.
In April, Daria took part in two international conferences of partner universities of PolesSU – the University of Banking (Lviv, Ukraine) and the Vilnius College/University of Applied Sciences (Vilnius, Lithuania). As part of her research, Daria studied the levels of trust in these countries, made author's conclusions and presented the results of the study at conferences. At the University of Banking, Daria Alexandrovna spoke at the plenary session, as a result of which she was awarded a diploma for the best report.
We sincerely congratulate Darya on well-deserved success, we wish her to continue and deepen her research, and we thank her for her worthy efforts!
