After the creation of the International Innovation and Application Center "Aquatic Artery" in March 2021 on the basis of a Consortium of Scientific and Practical Organizations, founded by Polessky State University, scheduled online consultations with partners from Europe and Asia were held in April and May.
The purpose of such meetings was to clarify the provisions of the Memorandum of Partnership, to consolidate opinions on the further development steps of the established structure and to integrate the scientific directions of the partner organizations: Polessky State University (Belarus), Technische Universität Berlin (Germany); Institute of Low Temperature Science, Hokkaido University (Japan); Sumy State University (Ukraine); Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (Germany); DEEP, Institute National Des Sciences Appliquees Lyon (France); University of Life Sciences in Lublin (Poland); National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (Ukraine); Technical University of Košice (Slovakia); Jiaxing University (China); National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine (Ukraine).
Special attention was paid to the potential possibilities of forming a common application in the competitive selection of the Ninth EU Framework Program (FP9), which received the preliminary name “Horizon Europe”. “Horizon Europe” will be based on the following sections: Open Science; Global Challenges; and Open Innovation.
The Consortium's partner organizations also agreed to detail regional opportunities for the implementation of joint scientific results in the real sectors of their countries' economies in order to improve the efficiency of water resources management, establish complete recycling of industrial and municipal waste, and introduce climate management concepts.
