Polessky State University pays great attention to sports: various sports events and competitions are held for its students, staff and teachers. Students of the university and the lyceum show their sports skills at various competitions. On October 23, an open competition "Tendai cup" in karate took place in Minsk. A student of the 10 "G" class specialized in sports of Polessky State University Lyceum Rolya Milena took the 1st place in the individual kata in the age category of 14-15, the 1st place in team kata in the age category of 14-17 and the 2nd place in the individual kata in the age category of 16-17.
