The interactive exhibition named "Partisans of Belarus" is being held at Polessky State University since November 17. The photographs from the Great Patriotic War, copies of award papers and combat characteristics of partisans are among the exhibits of the exhibition. Visitors can learn about the exploits and merits of specific partisans, military clashes, partisan formations. An interactive stand installed there helps to find one’s heroic ancestor from among the partisans.
Photos and archival materials tell us how suffered the Soviet people in order to protect the Motherland. The creators of the Internet portal named "Partisans of Belarus" digitalize military documents in order to preserve the memory of the hero-partisans, convey it to the younger generation, and instill a sense of patriotism.
The exhibition is actively attended by teachers, students, schoolchildren, students of lyceums, representatives of public organizations. The exhibition named "The partisans of Belarus" will be open at Polessky State University until December 2.
