On 9 January, the 16th International Christmas festival-competition of children and youth artistic creativity We are Together was held. It was organized by the Brest State Regional Center for the Creativity of Children and Youth, the additional liability company Inturservice (Brest), supported by the main education department of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee, sports and tourism department of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee.
The competition had the following aims: to identify and develop artistic creativity skills among children and youth; to establish cross-border ties between friendly countries; to foster communication between children and youth of different nationalities; to find and develop new forms of genre and style trends in arts; to popularize the artistic creativity of children and youth, as well as to share artistic experience.
Polessky State University was represented by Dmitry Chizhik, a soloist of Sounds of Time folk studio. The jury highly appreciated Dmitry's outstanding performance and awarded him the 1st degree Laureate Diploma.
