On 21 January, a dialogue platform named Belarus of the Future was held at Polessky State University within the framework of the activities of the Young leader club of Polessky State University. Sergei Klishevich, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus, a member of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science took part in the discussion. The discussion was attended by Rector Valery I. Dunai, members of the Young leader club of Polessky State University, representatives of the youth wing of the Pinsk organization of the Belarusian Women's Union of Polessky State University, students and employees of Polessky State University.
The participants discussed the draft amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the problems of patriotic education of youth and the preservation of the historical memory of the Belarusian people.
Sergei Klishevich dwelled on the issue of patriotic education - it is the basis for the unity of the nation, stability and integrity of the country.
Sergei Klishevich also highlighted the exceptional importance of protecting our historical past, the great feats of our ancestors and the inadmissibility of distorting the historical truth.
