Polessky State University gave start to advanced training courses on the following educational program: “Mechanisms and tools for managing educational and ideological activities in higher educational establishments”. The training started in February. The aim of the educational program for the advanced training is to provide information on the mechanisms and tools for managing educational and ideological activities in higher educational establishments.
Rector of Polessky State University Valery I. Dunai met with the students on 2 February within the framework of the courses. The participants discussed the importance of teaching fundamental values, ideas and beliefs, as well as the need for productive work to form an active civil and personal position among young people.
Deputy Dean on Educational Affairs of the Faculty of Economics and Finance Iryna V. Horysh gave a lecture for the participants on the forthcoming referendum. All the amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus to be submitted to the forthcoming referendum (27 February) were discussed in detail.
On 3 February, Vice-rector Mikchal M. Zaranka and the senior official of the Security Service in solving crimes related to high technology of the Pinsk Internal Affairs Department Grigory G. Omelkovich spoke to the course participants.
The theme of the lecture: "Prevention of cybercrime". The statistics of the crimes committed in the digital space against the citizens of Pinsk were presented during the lecture. Types of cybercrime, features and specifics of cybercriminals’ behavior on the Internet were discussed as well.
