As of 3 February, 2022, the data of the 13th edition of the international ranking called TRANSPARENT RANKING: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar (February 2022) were published.
The repository of Polessky State University still holds leading positions among top ten Belarusian repositories, electronic archives, as well as electronic libraries, occupying the eighth position. The repository of Polessky State University also holds a leading position in the Brest region. The repository of our university occupies the 280th position among 4223 institutional repositories in the world ranking.
The Transparent Ranking of Repositories, just like the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab research group. Its main aim is to stimulate information exchange between scientists around the world via publishing research results in the public domain. The rating takes into account open access documents and Google Scholar indexing of full-text scientific publications.
The repository of Polessky State University was created in 2013. Today its funds contain more than 22.5 thousand different documents: monographs, study books, articles from journals, guidance manuals, research works, as well as the university teachers’ materials for scientific conferences.
