Mini football tournament was held in memory of deceased internationalist soldiers, Sergeant Vladimir Shpakovsky, as well as the 33rd anniversary of troops withdrawal from Afghanistan. The tournament took place at Polessky State University on 19 February.
The tournament was partaken by five teams: combined teams of the borders detachment, taxes and fees inspection of Pinsk and the security department, the Pinsk Interdistrict Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Department of Internal Affairs of the Pinsk District Executive Committee and the Pinsk City Executive Committee, the Zubr special-purpose detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and a team of Polessky State University.
The team of the Pinsk Interdistrict Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus won the tournament! The team of Polessky State University took second place.
