Healthy way of life organisation Faculty was founded in 2007. Training sessions in special disciplines are held at the sports complex of the university, which today includes an ice arena, a stadium, a swimming pool, outdoor sports grounds, a universal sports hall, gyms, rowing bases.
LIFE OF THE FACULTY
In September, the Week of Sports and Health was held at PolesSU, students, staff and guests of the university took part in the events organized by the FOLS. Master classes, university championships, demonstration performances and tournaments in various sports took place during the week.
On September 8, the rector of University Dunai Valery Ivanovich met with the winners of international championships, republican competitions and the Universiade Vladislav Lokun, international class master of sports in rowing and Margarita Rusak, master of sports in rowing.
As part of the celebration of the International Day of University Sports, PolesSU also hosted a series of sports events: friendly matches, open training, etc.
As part of the United Health Day "World Heart Day" for students of the Healthy way of life organisation Faculty, specialty "Physical Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy", a scientific-practical seminar "Fundamentals of physical rehabilitation in the aftermath of diseases of the cardiovascular system" was held.
On October 15, the Pinsk Hawks hockey club, having joined the initiative of the International Ice Hockey Federation to hold the World Women's Hockey Weekend, held a hockey master class for students of the Healthy way of life organisation faculty of Polessky State University.
On February 15, 2022, the streetball competition dedicated to Valentine's Day was held. The competition was attended by student teams of the faculties and lyceum of the university, as well as representatives of the administration of the university and the lyceum, representatives of the deans.
On February 23, PHLS students held an open training session for teachers and students on the Tabata system, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
On the eve of International Women's Day, teachers and students of the Faculty of Organizing a Healthy Lifestyle organized the “Spring Marathon. Secrets of female charm“. Throughout the pre-holiday week, everyone was able to attend yoga and fitness classes, which were conducted by professional trainers and teachers and students who receive a profession corresponding to the direction.
Healthy way of life organisation faculty annually hosts an open water polo tournament, in which teams of students from different courses take part. This year, experienced senior players won.
On the basis of the Polessky State University, the championship of the city of Pinsk in mini-football among the TVET, secondary schools and universities was held. The team of Polessky State University once again proved its leadership by becoming the winner of the competition.
The winner of the regional competition "Students. Safety. The Future”, which is held by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, became the team of Polessky State University! The guys adequately represented the university at the republican stage, showing a sporty character, physical endurance and team unity!
On May 19, the Chairman of the Ice Hockey Federation of Belarus Aleksandr Viktorovich Bogdanovich visited Polessky State University. During the visit, a meeting was held with students, at which Alexander Viktorovich spoke about his successful sports career, managerial experience and answered questions.
In June, a solemn presentation of diplomas to graduates of Healthy way of life organisation Faculty took place. Instructors-methodologists in physical culture, teachers of physical culture, instructors-methodologists in physical rehabilitation and ergotherapy, sports trainers, having received important and sought-after specialties, will be worthy representatives of their university and their profession!
