From 26 to 29 July 2022 Championship of Belarus in rowing and canoeing among juniors and youth under 23 years old was held in Zaslavl, Minsk Region. The students and graduates majoring "Sports and pedagogical activity" of Polessky State University have successfully performed at the competition. Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus, second- year student Valentin Tihonov won the 2nd place at a distance of 1000 meters in a single canoe, the 3rd place at distances of 500 and 1000 meters in a canoe double and the 3rd place at a distance of 500 meters in a canoe-the four.
Candidate Master of Sports, third-year student Yaroslav Simonov won the 3rd place at a distance of 500 meters in a canoe-the four.
International Master of Sports, graduate of the university in 2020 Vladislav Kravets became the winner at a distance of 1000 meters in the category of single kayaks, at distances of 500 and 1000 meters in the category of double kayaks and at distances of 500 and 1000 meters in the category of kayak fours and won the 1st place at a distance of 500 meters in a double kayaks mixed.
