On 4-5 August 2022 the meeting of the Second Youth Parliament was held under the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk. It was composed of young people representing different regions and Minsk. There were 138 people. Anna Lazovskaya, a four-year student of Biotechnological Faculty at Polessky State University represented Pinsk.
On 4 August 10 Commissions were established, new Chairman and two deputies were elected at the work meeting of the Youth Parliament. The Chairman of the Youth Parliament under the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus is Nikita Rachilovcky and the deputies are Vladislav Volchek and Aleksey Tovstyka. Anna Lazovskaya joined the Commission on Environment, Volunteer Movement and Sustainable Development.
On 5 August parliamentarians gathered to work at the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War History.
Chairman of the Council of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova took part in the meeting.
Natalya Ivanovna emphasized that there are 81 ladies and 57 guys today. They are the representatives of working youth majoring in all spheres of country’s activities. She encouraged active participation in legislative activity because young people are creative and can generate brand new ideas. She asked them to conduct outreach efforts with people. She reminded everyone present in the room that they should carry out an active youth policy, tell young people from their region how the power vertical is arranged and works.
