On October 13, the head of the department of legal work and staffing of the Polessky State University Lira Natalya Mikhailovna held an informational and preventive conversation with the young teachers and new employees of the university on the topic of combating corruption. Natalya Mikhailovna explained the current anti-corruption legislation, as well as topical issues of law enforcement practice to suppress corruption offenses in the Republic of Belarus. New employees were told about the elements of corruption offenses, corruption risks and potential conflicts of interest. Vice-rector Zaranko Mikhail Mikhailovich reinforced the explanations with specific cases from practice. In addition, explanatory work was carried out with employees on issues of digital hygiene, security on the Internet and urged to be vigilant against the backdrop of increased cases of telephone fraud.
