On November 18, 2022, a round table on the topic "Belarus - China: the development of academic mobility of students" was held in the form of a videoconference, organized by the departments of international relations of Yantai University (People's Republic of China) and the Polessky State University. In the Polessky State University, the event was held on the basis of the Center for Belarusian-Chinese Intercultural Communications. The moderator from the Belarusian university was Anna Andreevna Mankevich, the teacher of the Department of Intercultural Communications, from Yantai University –the teacher of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Mr. Andy Yu. The reports were presented by students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance of the specialty "Linguistic Support of Intercultural Communications (Foreign Economic Relations)" of the Polessky State University Vasinkevich Alesya, Demyanchuk Mark, Oskirko Zakhar, Sukharevich Vladislav and others. Students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages CAO Mengfei, WAN Jintao, SHAO Zichuan, Liu Chu and others. The total number of participants was about 40 people. The round table began with students getting acquainted with the universities of both countries. Presentations of the scientific and educational potential of Yantai University and the Polessky State University were presented. Then the students shared information about the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus and China. The round table continued with presentations by students dedicated to their student life, hobbies and prospects for professional development. The event was accompanied by an active dialogue of students on education, culture, academic mobility, their own personal development as future qualified specialists. The format of this meeting aroused interest from both sides. Within the framework of the round table, promising areas of cooperation in the field of academic mobility were outlined.
