In the Minsk Theological Seminary in the town of Zhirovichi, Grodno Region, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanovich Ivanets and Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, Veniamin, a meeting of the Coordinating Council for the development and implementation of joint programs of cooperation between government bodies and the Belarusian Orthodox Church was held. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Olga Alexandrovna Zolotareva and the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Olga Anatolyevna Khmel took part in the event.
The meeting will consider effective practices for the interaction of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, educational authorities and educational institutions with the Belarusian Orthodox Church in matters of spiritual, moral and patriotic education of children and youth.
