On November 25, 2022, students of Polessky State University as part of the Youth Parliament under the Pinsk Council of Deputies Lazovskaya Anna and Gospodarik Artur visited the Council of the Republic, where the meeting of the Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on legislation and state building Sergei Mikhailovich Sivts with young parliamentarians took place. Sergei Mikhailovich informed the youth in detail about the activities of the Council of the Republic, work on draft laws, the constitutional and legal reform that took place in the Republic of Belarus, inter-parliamentary contacts of members of the Council of the Republic. The meeting was organized on the initiative of a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Irina Yulyanovna Sachkovskaya and the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the city of Pinsk. For the participants of the meeting, an excursion to the Museum of the Council of the Republic was organized, as well as a visit to the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
