On November 5, 2022, Polessky State University took part in the opening of the Chinese Bridge online Chinese language course organized by the Jilin Animation Institute (People's Republic of China). The purpose of the course is to popularize the Chinese language and culture. Teachers of the Department of Intercultural Communications Piskun Katsiaryna Vasilievna and Mankevich Anna Andreevna, together with students of the specialty "Linguistic support of intercultural communications", took part in the opening ceremony, which was attended by more than 200 people from different countries: Belarus, Russia, China, South Korea, Vietnam, Egypt and etc. Representatives of the administration and teachers of the Jilin Institute of Animation addressed the participants with welcoming words. A virtual tour of the Chinese University was held. The course program is scheduled until December 9th. Numerous master classes await students, as well as improving their Chinese language skills based on comics.
