On December 15-16, 2022, the VI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of the theory and practice of teaching physical, mathematical and technical disciplines in the modern educational space" was held. The organizer was our partner university - Kursk State University (KSU). On the sidelines of the event, the extremely urgent tasks of training qualified specialists who would be able to overcome modern challenges, primarily related to the creation of high-tech products and focus on import substitution, were considered. That is why the topics of the conference covered such innovative aspects of student training as: theory and practice of implementing a technological approach in teaching mathematics, computer science, physics; theory and practice of using information technologies in teaching mathematics, computer science, physics; mechatronics, robotics and electronics in the modern educational space. Accordingly, the profile sections: Actual problems of the theory and practice of teaching mathematics in the modern educational space; Actual problems of the theory and practice of teaching physics in the modern educational space; Actual problems of the theory and practice of teaching computer science and information technology in the modern educational space. The conference was moderated by Svetlana Nikolaevna Voladad, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, Informatics, KSU. Vice-Rector for Science and Research Shtepa Vladimir Nikolaevich greeted the participants of the event on behalf of the Polessky State University. Within the framework of the plenary session, the head of the Department of Information Technologies and Intellectual Systems of the Polessky State University, Marina Alexandrovna Romanova, made a report “The system of mathematical education in the Republic of Belarus”. Separately, it is necessary to note the significant activity of students who prepared and presented the material and their worthy participation in discussions. This conference is one of the milestones of active interaction between Polessky State University and Kursk State University, which has every prospect of being formed into a joint multidisciplinary educational and scientific project.
