On February 8, an open dialogue "Belarus: yesterday, today, tomorrow" initiated by the NGO "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" took place at the Polessky State University. Modern Belarusian youth is full of energy, determination, constructive ideas and bold decisions. The main inspirer of the movement of society forward is the youth itself, united by a sincere and deep idea of unity and love for the motherland. An open dialogue is designed to enable young people to express their position in life, to reveal the role of youth in the development of the country and in shaping the worldview of the new generation. The rector of the University Dunai Valery I., the first secretary of the Brest regional committee of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" Yury S. Segenyuk, the first secretary of the Pinsk city committee of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" Victor A. Maslyak, the secretary of the primary organization of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" with rights of the regional committee of the Polessky State University Glavdel Ilona I., lawyer of the legal advice of the Pinsk region and the city of Pinsk Doroshenko Denis S. Issues of patriotism and historical memory, issues of choosing priorities and upholding a life position were raised. We discussed ample opportunities for Belarusian youth and strong state support for youth initiatives, social guarantees for young professionals and young families, plans for the implementation of public association projects. Within the framework of the meeting, a solemn presentation of youth tickets to students with an active life position, who decided to join the ranks of the members of the organization, took place. Every year on February 6, members of the youth law enforcement movement celebrate the Day of Youth Law Enforcement Units. In 2012, the Bastion detachment was founded at the Polessky State University. To date, the detachment includes about 50 boys and girls. These are students of our university who are capable of carrying out the tasks of assisting in the protection of law and order due to their business and moral qualities. During the work, the members of the detachment have established themselves as reliable partners and irreplaceable assistants. The fighters of the "Bastion" take part in the implementation of projects under the auspices of the "Belarusian Republican Youth Union", assist law enforcement agencies in the prevention of offenses and crimes among young people. The best fighters of the Bastion were awarded diplomas and thanks and sweet surprise.
