On December 18, the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture hosted an award ceremony for students and schoolchildren who have achieved significant success in learning Chinese. The scholarship was established by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus.
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Xie Xiaoyong, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Bakhanovich delivered a welcoming speech to the laureates and those present. Anna Dzhumalieva, a 3rd year student at Polessky State University, is among the 36 laureates.
