On February 17, 2021, the final board of the Ministry of Education was held. Within its framework the Educational Achievement Exhibition was presented. Polessky State University presented a solution that was implemented at the university during the launching of the Digital University project. It is based on software from one of the leaders in software development - Microsoft. The decision was demonstrated to Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, as well as Igor Karpenko, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus and all participants of the board.
This solution, based on the Microsoft Teams software product, is currently developing at a very fast pace. In recent months it has received a number of new features that undoubtedly enhance higher education opportunities. This product has extensive integration capabilities with various products: ServiceDesk Plus Cloud, Azure Boards, GitHub Enterprise, Google Analytics, Kahoot!
The Digital University project opens up limitless opportunities for Polessky State University. It provides a number of advantages both in the educational and scientific activities of the university. For example: together with other universities and employers 'and entrepreneurs' associations of Belarus and Germany, Polessky State University participates in the project Promoting Development of Dual Study in Belarusian Higher Education - DUALBEL.
DUALBEL has received the approval of the European Commission, so the developed solutions will be a great bonus in the implementation of this and future projects at the university.
