Anna Lazovskaya Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Environmental Issues, Volunteer Movement and Sustainable Development of the Youth Parliament at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the Youth Parliament at the Pinsk City Council of Deputies

A single voting day is a modern innovation in the Electoral Code. In our country, more comfortable conditions are being created for voters: during one visit to a polling station, votes are simultaneously cast for several deputies to representative bodies at different levels. This decision helps to increase the transparency of the electoral system, political and social-civil vertical. There are a lot of nuances and innovations that are necessary and important to know about. By conducting awareness-raising events and discussion platforms “Belarus of the Future,” I contribute to ensuring that the youth of Pinsk not only have an idea of the political system of our country, but also become involved in political life. After all, young people are the progressive part of our society, and we must be politically literate, educated and master the information agenda. And it is important for us, as young people, not to stand aside and actively demonstrate our civic position, thereby showing how important the future of our state is for us. Since elections are an opportunity to elect the most worthy people in our society who will represent our interests and defend the opinions of their people for the next 5 years!

Matsuka Olga Vasilievna Head of the Public Relations Department

As you get older, you begin to understand how important it is - the unity of the country. By participating in elections, we show our will and civic position. It is important for young people to live in their own country and independently follow the chosen path of development and creation, thereby making their conscious choice, using the right to influence the future of our Belarus. On voting day, we don’t just go to the polling station, but with our vote we shape the country’s governance system. It depends on us what we want to see Belarus in the future.

Golyakovich Yulia Olegovna Chairman of the youth wing of the primary organization of the public association "Belarusian Women's Union" Polessky State University, Deputy Dean for educational work of the Faculty of Economics and Finance

A single voting day is an effective tool for improving the election process. Participation in a single voting day allows every citizen to influence the decision-making process and shape the political situation in the country. At the same time, it gives every citizen the opportunity to be heard and contribute to the future of the Republic of Belarus.

Turban Ekaterina Chairman of the student council of the Faculty of Economics and Finance

Participation in elections is not only the right, but also the responsibility of every citizen. For me, these elections are of particular importance because I belong to the young generation that wants to see Belarus modern, prosperous and respected in the world. Youth is the engine of progress, a source of new ideas, strength and energy. A single voting day is a special day for us and for our country. This is the day when we fulfill our civic duty, demonstrate our belonging to the Belarusian people, and make our choice. This is the day when we contribute to the development and prosperity of our country and participate in shaping its destiny.

Vladychik Marta Chairman of the primary trade union organization of Polessky State University students

On February 25, 2024, elections of deputies of all levels will be held in the Republic of Belarus. A single voting day is very important for the further development of our country. Elections allow citizens to express their will and elect representatives who will defend our interests at all levels of government. Deputies have the power to make important decisions concerning the lives and well-being of citizens. Therefore, it is important that every citizen takes an active part in elections, and also understands his responsibility for the future of his country.

Anna Verigo 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics and Finance

I believe that elections are an important and integral part of our lives. A deputy is the voice of the people who strives to improve the well-being of the population. Every person with an active civic position is given the opportunity to choose a candidate whose ideas he shares and supports.

Alesya Kravchuk Chairman of the Student Coordination Council

For the first time in Belarus, a single voting day will be held. Every citizen of the Republic of Belarus has the right to vote, therefore the prosperity of our country in the future depends on our voice!
