On January 18, a meeting was held between representatives of Polessky State University and the Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology (People's Republic of China). On behalf of Polessky State University, the Vice-Rector for Research Vladimir Nikolaevich Shtepa, the Head of the International Relations Department Natalya Vladimirovna Aksenchik, international relations specialists Gao Dongjie, E.L. Kievich, A.D. Dzhumalieva took part. The Chinese side was represented by the dean of the Faculty of Design, Niu Fujie, and the lecturer of the Faculty of Communications and Media, Wang Shikai.
During the visit, university representatives visited industry laboratories (“DNA and cell technologies in crop and livestock production”, “Scientific, methodological and medical-biological support for the training of athletes in Olympic sports”, “Longitudinal research”), and also took part in a meeting with Belarusian and Chinese students. Based on the results of the visit, specific events aimed at expanding cooperation are planned.
