On February 28, the Polessky State University team “Polesie Politicians” consisting of Memekh Maxim, a student of the Faculty of Engineering, Kakadei Yulia, a student of the Faculty of Organization of a Healthy Lifestyle, and “Polesie Economists” consisting of Elizaveta Garashchuk and Veronika Romanyuk, students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, under the guidance of a senior teacher Department of Economics and Business Irina Vladimirovna Gorish took part in the regional stage of the republican competition “All-Belarusian Debate League” in Brest.
The co-organizers of this competition are the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Republican Public Association “Belaya Rus”, the Public Association “Belarusian Republican Youth Union”.
The competition took place in three rounds. Round 1 – first semi-final. Assignment: The EP (this is the Government, according to the competition regulations) advocates banning the formation of polling stations abroad. Round 2 – second semi-final. Assignment: EP believes that violent video games should be banned. The final. Assignment: The EP believes that network sovereignty should be established within the Union State. The panel of judges was made up of heads of delegations from all educational institutions of the Brest region.
