From April 8 to April 12, 2024, the chairman of the trade union committee of Polessky State University students, Vladychik Marta, and representatives of the trade union committee of Polessky State University students, Prokopovich Igor, Demyanovich Polina and Pinchuk Kirill, took training courses for youth trade union activists.
Young leaders from different regions of the country had the opportunity to discuss, complete practical tasks and create new unique projects. The topic of the next module: “Quality in everything is the key to the prosperity of Belarusian society.” This motif runs like a red thread through all spheres of life and the economy. Representatives of the youth trade union activists visited the Minsk National Airport, where they became acquainted with the peculiarities of the functioning of the air checkpoint, the specifics and nature of its activities, and the procedure for passing border and other types of control.
After the fascinating excursion, participants were treated to a dialogue platform in the airport conference hall. The conversation was attended by the deputy head of the border control detachment “Minsk” Dmitry Gordey, senior officer of the ideological work department of the State Border Committee Arseny Dolbik, as well as the chairman of the Belarusian trade union of workers of state and other institutions Sergey Potapenko.
Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Yuri Senko, upon taking office, emphasized the importance of working with youth. The republican project “Training Courses for Youth Trade Union Activists” is an excellent example of how the country’s largest public organization helps active, proactive and ambitious youth to realize their potential.
