Seminar “International Week on Central Banking” in Germany (Hachenburg) at the University of Applied Sciences of the Deutsche Bundesbank

10 students and 1 lecturer from Polessky state university participated in the seminar “International Week on Central Banking” in Germany (Hachenburg) at the University of Applied Sciences of the Deutsche Bundesbank from the 7th till the 14th of April. The students took part in 5 lectures: The Bundesbank in the European System of Central Banks, Securitization in the context of the CRR, Macroprudential policy and its interaction with the monetary policy, Mobilizing capital for the poor: Aspects of refinancing microfinance institutions, Deutsche Bundesbank – Institutional Presentation. They also participated in the workshops along with the students from Ukraine and China. In the end all students received certificates and gifts from the rector and the administration of the University. Also we prepared the presentation about Polessky state university and showed it to the audience. Students were communicating with all professors and Prof Dr Erich Keller, in particular, talking about our universities, systems of education and general staff.
All students were communicating with the German students, lecturers. They asked questions, participated in the discussions, visited all the offered sightseeing locations. Such as Cologne (the Cathedral), Coblenz (German Corner), Braubach (Marksburg Castle), Limburg, Frankfurt (Money Museum). And of course they walked through the streets of Hachenburg.
The trip was 10 days long (with the trip by bus to Germany). All students enjoyed the journey very much. They are all grateful for such an opportunity offered by Polessky state university and the University of Applied Sciences of the Deutsche Bundesbank. And here are some photos about the trip.
