In the period from October 20 to October 25, Alexey Borisovich Shikunets, an assistant at the Department of Aquaculture and Eco-environment Design, completed an internship on the topic "Methods of teaching disciplines of the professional block in the bachelor's degree program 03/35/08 - Aquatic bioresources and aquaculture. Problems of increasing the efficiency of aquaculture" at the Petrozavodsk State University. As part of the internship, Alexey Borisovich got acquainted with the material and technical base of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Fish Farming, Agronomy and Land Management, attended a number of training sessions in the field of aquaculture, and emphasized innovative methods of conducting the educational process in the field of fish farming. At the PetrSU Research Center for Aquaculture, he got acquainted with the peculiarities of trout cultivation in closed-circuit water supply installations, including the use of innovative automatic systems for monitoring physico-chemical parameters of water, as well as monitoring systems for farmed fish, and mastered the methods of involving students in research activities used at the research center.
