The International Holocaust Remembrance Day, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly resolution of November 1, 2005, is celebrated on January 27.

On February 11, 2025, Polessky State University hosted a meeting of students of the Faculty of Biotechnology with Mikhail Mikhailovich Zaranko, Vice-rector, Dmitry Ivanovich Yaromchik, head of the Department for Combating Cybercrime at the Pinsk City Executive Committee, Police Lieutenant Colonel, Ekaterina Igorevna Prilovskaya, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work, and tutors.

School graduates, parents, applicants, students, and young professionals annually attend the international specialized exhibition "EDUCATION AND CAREER. EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES" in order to get an answer to the question: who to become and where to go to study? Universities, colleges, lyceums, institutes of postgraduate education, educational centers, foreign language schools, foreign universities, employers, manufacturers and suppliers of the industry take part in the exhibition.

On February 5, 2025, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, Rector of Polessky State University, and Olga Anatolyevna Khmel, Vice-rector for Ideological and Educational Work, took part in a meeting of the permanent regional working group on work with youth.  Through the videoconference format, Valery Ivanovich made a presentation "The organization of educational work with student youth in the educational institution Polessky State University."

The republican patriotic labor project "Winter Route", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was launched in Novogrudok, Grodno region, on January 27. It was opened by the detachments of the winter route "Ice and Flame" and "Asimyya". The Republican patriotic labor project "Winter Route" is a set of measures aimed at establishing the civic position of young people, realizing their labor, communicative and creative potential.

2,887,052 voters voted early. 278,850 voters voted at the location. On election day, 2,750,293 voters took part in voting at the polling station.

"Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko was elected President of the Republic of Belarus, with 5,136,293 votes cast for his candidacy, which amounted to 86.82%, that is, more than half of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus who took part in the voting," said CEC Secretary Elena Baldovskaya.

On February 3, 2025, the rector of Polessky State University, Valery Ivanovich Dunai, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus Shakulyev Nazarkuly at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus in order to demonstrate the university's capabilities and establish friendly business relations. During the meeting, the parties agreed on cooperation in the education of Turkmen students at PolesSU.

From October 22 to December 10, 2024, the VI All-Russian Student Abstract Translation Competition with international participation was held. It was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages of the Yaroslavl State Technical University in cooperation with the All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Students of the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization took part as volunteers in the 2nd stage of the Republican Athletics Mass Sports Event "300 talents for the Queen" to identify promising children for further athletics training.

On January 31, a graduation ceremony for graduates of the specialty "Linguistic support of intercultural communications" was held in the assembly hall of the 1st building in a solemn atmosphere. The ceremony was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Andrey Valerievich Astrenkov.
