Khatyn... we remember

On March 22, 1943, the village Khatyn in the Logoisk district, along with all its inhabitants, was destroyed by the Nazis. 149 civilians, including 75 children, were burned alive or shot.

International Day of La Francophonie

March 15 - Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus

The Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus is celebrated annually on March 15, since the First Constitution of the Sovereign Belarus was adopted on this day in 1994. The Constitution is the basic law of any state. In all aspects, the Belarusian Constitution is the one of a developed and free Europeab society. Based on the principle of the rule of law, a clear division of the branches of power, a variety of political institutions, ideological views, it reflects the experience of constitutional construction of advanced countries of the world, clearly and consistently sets out the basic universal values.
