On December 26, students of Polessky State University congratulated the management and staff of the university on the upcoming New Year. The organizer of the New Year's holiday was the Coordinating Student Council.

On December 23, 2022, university students were awarded for their achievements in scientific and innovative activities. More than 30 students who distinguished themselves at republican, international scientific conferences, competitions, projects were invited for the solemn presentation of certificates. On the eve of the New Year, students of Polessky State University received certificates of participation and a diploma of the winner of the XII International Olympiad "World Wars in the History of Humanity", organized by Gomel State University named after F. Skaryna.

From December 22 to 23, the Republican project "Youth Change" was held on the basis of the Republican Youth Center. The project participants were chairmen of student councils of institutions of higher education.

On December 15-16, 2022, the VI All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of the theory and practice of teaching physical, mathematical and technical disciplines in the modern educational space" was held. The organizer was our partner university - Kursk State University (KSU).

At the Department of Marketing and International Management, master's theses were defended by foreign students in the specialty "Marketing". Representing different provinces of China and different fields of activity, graduates demonstrated original research in the field of marketing to the state examination board.
