On February 24, 2021, O. A. Zolotareva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; O. A. Khmel, Dean of the Faculty of Additional Education; I.A. Prigodich Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee took part in an online meeting on economic cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Turkey in the field of higher education, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The Turkish side was shown the opportunities of Polessky State University in the field of education and science, discussed issues of possible mutual cooperation, participation in summer school programs for Turkish citizens and Belarusian students.

On the regular meeting of the Financial Management Department the open lecture was discussed. It was held on February 10, 2021 by the associate professor of the Department, Ph.D. A.S.Golikova.

The lecture "Application of digital technologies in the financial sector" was read by the 2nd year students of the specialty "Economics" on the discipline "Financial Technologies" .

Not only professors of the Department, but also representatives of the dean's office and other departments expressed interest in lecture.

The results of the International Studens’ Olympiad "Fast and Furious in Economics" were summed up in the Altai State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University!

75 competitive works from students and undergraduates, both individual and team works from higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia were submitted to the Olympiad.

On February 19, 2021, Yuri Derkach, Senator, visited the Educational and Scientific Laboratory “Engineering Center” at the Engineering Faculty of Polessky State University.

The meeting was held in a friendly and professional atmosphere. Yuri Nikolaevich was shown the developments of teachers and students of the university, including technological equipment for growing clary catfish, aquaponic systems, industrial models of water treatment and water treatment units, a module for collecting real-time technological information, ozonators, ultrasonic and hydro-cavitators, computer-integrated stands for conducting laboratory classes.

On February 17, 2021, the final board of the Ministry of Education was held. Within its framework the Educational Achievement Exhibition was presented. Polessky State University presented a solution that was implemented at the university during the launching of the Digital University project. It is based on software from one of the leaders in software development - Microsoft. The decision was demonstrated to Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, as well as Igor Karpenko, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus and all participants of the board.

On February 08-09, 2021, a meeting of the examination subject commission was held on the results of an additional interview with applicants of the People's Republic of China for admission to the Master's program of the educational institution “Polessky State University”.

23 graduates of the specialized faculties of physical culture of the universities of the People's Republic of China expressed their desire to receive a Master's degree in the specialty 1-08 80 04 "Physical Culture and Sports", specialization "Scientific and methodological and biomedical support in physical culture and Sports" at the Faculty of Healthy Lifestyle Organization of Polessky State University.

On February 2, 2021, an online meeting of a group of World Bank specialists was held to assist in the implementation of the project “Modernization of Higher Education in the Republic of Belarus”.

The focus group meeting was organized to discuss joint project planning with the participation of the World Bank team. The meeting on behalf of the Educational Institution "Polessky State University" was attended by O. A.Zolotareva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; V. T. Cheshchevik, Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology; S. V. Tynovets, Deputy Dean for Scientific Work; E. M. Volkova, Head of the Department of Biotechnology; N. A. Glinskaya, Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Bioinformatics, as well as undergraduates and students.

At the Faculty of Economics and Finance, undergraduates are recruited in two English-language programs: "Economics" and "Marketing". 31 Chinese citizens have already joined the ranks of undergraduates in the specialty "Economics".

Webometrics analyzes the presence of universities on the Internet, including scientific publications. According to the rating developers, the indicators used allow to create a fairly complete picture of the activities of university teachers and researchers.

The Department of Marketing and International Management, Polessky State University, announces enrollment for the specialty “Management (in the field of international tourism)” in 2021-2022.
The peculiarity of this specialty is that future specialists, in addition to the skills of managers, will speak two foreign languages. The qualification that graduates will receive: economist-manager, interpreter-referent (with indication of two foreign languages).
