From January 20 to January 22, 2026, the III School of the Young Scientist was held in Minsk as part of the Week of Belarusian Science. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education.

The Republican New Year's campaign "Our Children" runs from December 15, 2025 to January 14, 2026. Traditionally, students and staff of Polessky State University take part in it. On January 13, 2026, with the support of the leadership of Polessky State University, employees of the Department of Ideological and educational work and student activists organized a colorful New Year's performance for the pupils of the Molotkovichi Auxiliary Boarding School.

BRYU Activists of the Polessky State University, as part of an action "From the bottom of our hearts," help elderly people living alone in clearing snow in their home territories.  Young people come to the aid of those who find it difficult to cope with heavy snow on their own.
